Ground Penetrating Radar

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a nondestructive method that uses electromagnetic waves to gather subsurface images that are analyzed and interpreted for locating buried utilities, geotechnical investigation, archeological investigation, heritage conservation, and locating Unexploded Ordnances (UXOs). Digiscript provides Ground Penetrating Radar services for several applications to understand subsurface conditions prior to any construction or excavation work.

To help determine the as-built conditions beyond the concrete/pavement surface, GPR is also used to locate rebars, metal and plastic pipes, determine cover depth, detect voids, or honeycomb in concrete.

Digiscript uses GPR equipment that operates at various frequencies (100 MHz, 250 MHz, and 1,000 MHz) depending on the investigation objective in order to gather information at various depths and resolutions.
